ISIEP 2026

The International Seminar on Islamic Education & Peace (ISIEP) is an annual international academic forum organized by the Faculty of Islamic Studies and the Graduate School of Universitas Islam Raden Rahmat (UNIRA) Malang. It provides a platform for academic dialogue, research dissemination, knowledge exchange, and international collaboration in the fields of Islamic education research and peace education. In 2026, ISIEP reaches its 6th edition, bringing together academics, researchers, education practitioners, students, and stakeholders from various countries.ISIEP 2026 carries the theme “Islamic Education for a Peaceful and Sustainable Future: Bridging Ecotheology, Deep Learning, and Technology.” The event will be held online on November 11, 2026, with speakers and participants from Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and other countries. The program includes an international seminar, paper presentations, academic discussions, and the exchange of ideas and best practices on peace-oriented and sustainable Islamic education.The seminar explores key issues including Islamic ecotheology and environmental ethics, peace education, deep learning, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, digital ethics, green madrasah, climate change, ecological citizenship, curriculum innovation, local wisdom, inclusive Islamic education, global citizenship, and community-based peacebuilding.Through ISIEP 2026, the Faculty of Islamic Studies, UNIRA Malang, reaffirms its commitment to fostering international academic collaboration and strengthening the contribution of Islamic education toward a peaceful, inclusive, just, ecologically conscious, technologically adaptive, and sustainable future.
